JCB JS 160 Non Start




JS 160 Non start/fuel issues - called out to this JS160 that had been sat for a little while waiting for other companies to come and attempt a repair. The machine had suffered with poor running issues for a while and then came to fault and was then a non starter where it sat. We did some investigation over an evening, diagnosed it to a faulty injector pump and possibly a couple of injectors down. We made a plan and had the injectors and pump removed within a few hours. Also in removal we spotted that the wiring loom had also had some sort of issue with getting hot, so a repair was also need there as well. Injection pump and the fuel injectors were sent away for reconditioning. Items returned, re-fitted along with fresh fuel and filters. New Delphi pump plugs were sourced and replaced at the same time. Job complete. Machine was fired up tested and put back to work after many months of sitting idle.
